Nothing But Love For New England

Patriots, Giants Super Bowl

This Sunday’s Super Bowl matchup pits rivals New York Giants against the revenge-hungry New England Patriots in what will most definitely be an epic showdown. With memories of the 2008 New York Super Bowl stunner that obliterated a perfect season for New England, the Pats have a fire in their belly Eli Manning will have to work overtime to quell. With their last loss this season being against the Giants (10 games ago), the Pats have fueled forward, proving strength prevails when they get knocked down a peg or two. And oh, how they’re feeling that now with Sunday’s game on the horizon.

Not to mention this will be star quarterback Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick‘s fifth Super Bowl appearance together and potential fourth Super Bowl ring. I think the blinged-out knuckles look would be quite becoming on Brady. Watch out Kobe!

While New England is favored to take home the hardware, New York will be no easy team to trump. They’ve won five consecutive road playoff games, dating to 2007 and are coming into Sunday’s Super Bowl game (their fifth appearance) on a five game winning streak. Regardless of tight end Rob Gronkowski‘s injury, Brady and the Pats will be looking to him and Aaron Hernandez to lead their passing attack. And rightfully so, since Gronkowski and Hernandez both caught a touchdown pass and combined for over 100 yards when facing the Giants in the regular season. Not to mention NE wide receiver Wes Welker posted huge numbers this year, racking up over 1,500 receiving yards; translation: thats the second most by any receiver in the NFL. BOOM!

Let’s just hope the New England defense shows up big against powerhouse Manning, who we know is frothing at the mouth for his second Super Bowl ring. With his recent streak averaging over 300 yards with 11 scores and just one pick in the last four games, this QB is not to be taken lightly. Plus with wide outs Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks carrying a combined + 2,700 yards with 16 scores on the season, you know they’re just salivating at the thought of grabbing that pigskin and puling out some Forrest Gump shizznit.

Well, now I’m stressed out and nervous and my hands are all sweaty. Can it just be Sunday already? I’m ready for a Brady smack down in Indy so I can relax.

Gronk-Time. If this video doesn’t get New England fans psyched for Sunday I don’t know what will

And then there’s this video that exemplifies the slightly less than classy, lunacy and awesomeness that is Massachusetts...
